If you Are Thinking to buy a Hoist in 2020
If you Are Thinking to buy a Hoist in 2020
when you want to start a new project or you want to build a home garage Or do you want to have shed at home The first thing you’re going to think what Concrete thickness and strength will I need, secondly what area and hight will I need to be able to install the hoist I wish to buy also do
I want and need a 2post hoist or a 4post hoist and what safe working load(SWL) to cater for the Vehicle I will be working on. should I consider Different types of hoists eg Parking lift hoist, scissor lift hoist, single post lift, Movable hoist,
ceiling height or the roof Height is very important if your ceiling height is too low cannot have two poster if you are ceiling height it’s at maximum height for example 4 meter It’s perfect to install 2 post hoist,
The question is if you thinking to get to a 2 post Hoist what kind of two poster you going to buy if you going to lift four-wheel-drive or small cars you need 4tonne hoist
If you’re going to lift heavy four-wheel-drive then you will need a 4.5 ton the best for four-wheel-drive is asymmetric Hoist and some design hoists come with a three stage arms on the front and rear a three stage on the back arms will give you the benefit of drive on or revers on to the hoist we recommend this hoist for your she or workshop, The 3 stage arms also increase considerably the safety of lifting your vehicle You can have in your shed or in your workshop.
Classic Lift 2post CL5500C classiclift Australia f 1
Classic Lift 2 post 3 stage arm Hoist Designed
The three stage front arm and a three stage back arm Hoist designed Will help you if the car does not start or not to drive so you don’t have to face the car to the front of the hoist this is one of the best feature and also the two safety lock release one side with the lever And if the Motor on the front not on the side of the post so I can give you access to walk behind the wall on the post and also check the ram of the hoist direct drive or chain drive always direct drive more powerful and fast lifting if you have low ceiling don’t worry the scissor lift is the best solution for lifting car at the home garage they are two types of scissors lifts one flush mount and one bolted to the floor the flush mount is more practical and easy to work with and also won’t make room in the shed.
If you want to buy 4post Hoist The first thing about the safety of a four-post is to have a safety lock and some have for even more safety the eight locks all more convenient to raise the car up if you want 4 poster For home garage I suggest for you to have it on wheels so you can move it around the shed also if your she is big enough you can have big four-poster hoist The 4 post hoist people prefer it to work under is this one if you want to start your mechanical business the 4.5 tonne is the best for your business with 4.5 tonne you can lift any passenger cars including Heavy 4 WD to small cars make sure the hoist is direct drive, not chain drive so can give you have more power and 415V is always more powerful than 240V.

The Scissor Lift is A Better Alternative Than Car Lifts
The Scissor Lift is A Better Alternative Than Car Lifts
Gone are those days when you use ladders to manage your work at the height. With the advent of the latest technology and innovations, cutting-edge technology-based hydraulic powered scissor lifts that can raise and lower heavy loads or workers without any risk. The stable design of this lift allows the lift platform to be raised directly above the base. Positioning the weight above the ground in this way provides platform stability that is unmatched in other-other aerial working platforms.
Why choose a scissor lift over than other working platforms A scissor lift provides a number of benefits over traditional lifting machines. The work platform of a scissor lift is relatively large and provides enough space to safely lift in a car and his tools and equipment. Further, the work platform is free standing and provides and level space from which to work surrounded by guardrails for fall safely. The mobility of the lift base allows for easy maneuvering. By comparison, a traditional lifting is a cumbersome safely hazard that doesn’t provide adequate safety to the worker when working in hard to reach spaces. Scissor lifts come in different sizes and shapes. While commonly designed to lift workers and materials to the great height, scissor lifts also come in smaller sizes used for lifting objects. They come in a range of lift height and power options depending on the requirements of the work environment.
Usually, these scissor car lifts are featured with the mechanic locking device with automatic engagement and pneumatic release to ensure maximum safety when a lift is in standing position itself.
The best part about choosing the scissor lifts for the car repair work, is they are easy to carry and portable lifts that can be easily kept in the back of your car. As they are hydraulic scissor lifts, it can easily lift up the car. The minimum height from the floor guarantees easy and rapid positioning of the vehicle on the lift. The limited space required by the lift improves the safety of the working area. With hundreds of options available in scissor lifts for cars, choosing the one equipped with the best features is quite complicated. However, the simplest ways to buying the best scissor car lift are to choose the top three brands and evaluate the features, functionality, and cost of the lift to ensure that you pick the best one for your garage.

Hydraulic Car lift Operated ?
A hydraulic car lift is a type of machine that uses a hydraulic apparatus to lift or move objects using the force created when pressure is exerted on liquid in a piston. Force then produces “lift” and “work.” Hydraulic lift technology has a multitude of industrial applications, like construction and transport. It is often implemented to operate heavy machinery or to move and lift heavy and large objects like cars, dirt, and shipping containers. Hydraulic Lift works on the principle that at the same depth from the free surface level, the pressure is constant in a stationary fluid. Here free surface level is the level where the surface of the fluid (liquid) is in contact with another fluid (air). Pressure is defined as the force exerted by the molecules of fluid at the unit area, given by P=F/A.
Now, at the same depth from the free surface level, increasing A would lead to an increase in F (force) which is generally used to raise the platform. Similarly, decreasing A would lead to a decrease in force which is given by humans either directly or indirectly Hydraulic Lifts“ include a wide variety of specialized machines designed to accomplish a multitude of tasks and purposes. They operate from various energy sources with direct, automatic and remote controls. Without specific information, it is impossible to advise you on how to operate the nonspecific machine that you are referring to. I’ll just give you the general precaution: ‘carefully.’ The opportunity to harm yourself & others and/or damage valuable equipment is ever-present. a hydraulic valve lifter has four distinct parts, the check ball mechanism, body, socket, and plunger. The plunger and socket move along with the push rod, and the body moves in conjunction with the cam. Riding in between the plunger and the socket is a spring and an oil cushion. The hydraulic valve lifter is pressurized by the oil gallery right at the start of motion in the engine. The pressure from the oil is only just enough to remove whatever clearance there is in the valve train, but not enough to actually open the hydraulic valve itself.
The cam pushes on the hydraulic valve lifter’s body in order to actually open the valve. The spring holds the check ball in its place, and the hydraulic valve lifter’s motion opens the check ball cavity. leaving the check ball behind, but only for a second or so. Then, the cam pushes the hydraulic valve lifter body forward, and the push rod holds the plunger in place while the check ball cavity gets smaller. The check ball is held in place by the support spring, and oil pressure in the cavity forces the check ball to move forward, and that closes the check ball cavity.
This traps oil in the check ball cavity and makes the plunger assembly move with the hydraulic valve lifter body, and then that moves the pushrod and opens the hydraulic valve. The oil pressure inside the check ball cavity prevents the spring inside from compressing further. The cam then finishes its rotation, and the spring makes the hydraulic valve lifter body go back to the rest position on the base circle of the cam. The check ball isn’t under a lot of pressure then and is ready to be shoved into the spring by the oil pressure, which lets in oil into the check ball cavity and starts the whole cycle again.

Which Hoist Should I Buy 2 Post or 4 Post?
The 2 post hoist has 2 posts. Two arms come of each post which are used to lift a car from the underside. Typically you use suspension supports wherever practical, or the jacking points. A 4 post hoist has (amazingly) 4 posts and you lift the car by the 4 wheels. If you need to take off the wheels, they have additional jacks that you fit under the car's body or suspension points. More seriously, a 2 post hoist is cheap to buy and ideal for basic service work. You can do most things on a 2 post hoist, but they are less suited to major jobs where more stability may be required. A four-post hoist is a lot more expensive, but is better suited to major works like engine removal as the car is better supported. If you look into a typical car service department you might find they have several 2 post hoists and only one 4 post hoist.
